As the Global Chief Business Officer at VML, Sasan supports the agency’s business development on client partnerships globally. He works with clients and supports them with transformation strategies, capability building and growth through brand, customer and commerce practices.
Sasan also serves as the World President and Chairman of the International Advertising Association, where he promotes the mission of the IAA as a global compass of the marketing communications industry and expands its influence and footprint. Sasan is passionate about advancing diversity and inclusion, thought leadership, education, and professional development for working professionals in our field.
With over 20 years of experience in leading Global brands and Global relationships like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Samsung, Kyndryl to name a few, Sasan has a proven track record of building strong and timeless relationships with clients, delivering growth, effective strategies, marketing transformation, and managing high-performance teams across different markets and cultures. Sasan has been CEO, Global Client Lead, Transformation Lead and Strategic consultant across regions, from New York to Dubai, from London to Singapore.
Beyond work, Sas is passionate about interior design, fashion and reading History. He most recently completed a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Business – from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford; and when he can find time, he tries to play and watch as much Basketball as possible and spends time with his two boys, Sammy and Alexander.
