Raluca Nicolaescu

Raluca is Head of Marketing for Romania at Mastercard, position which she holds since June 2020. Her responsibilities include the coordination, development and execution of marketing and communication strategies on the local market, through brand campaigns and communication activities, in line with the company’s vision of a cashless society, digital payments, payment security, education and financial inclusion, as well as the company’s social mission, to build a better future. Raluca’s experience in marketing spans over 17 years, in areas such as FMCG, the pharmaceutical industry and the payments industry.

Raluca joined the Mastercard Romania team in 2016, as Marketing Manager, contributing to the company’s development through initiatives dedicated to digital payments, e-commerce and innovation, combining relevance, bold ideas and financial indicators to provide consumers with a safe, simple and fast experience to create invaluable experiences and, at the same time, to continue building a better future.
