Innovation and Creativity - what are the similarities and the differentiating points between the two?
All innovation is driven by creativity – it is the creative mind that looks to make, solve and better everything around us.
How can creativity change the world for the better?
Every creative has the ability and I would argue the responsibly to make our world a better place. There are so many issues that need solving and creative minds are the ones who have the ability to think of the audacious solutions to them.
If you were to define innovation in maximum of 10 words, what would be your definition?
A creative and imaginative way to move us forward.
Throughout your career, which was the most creative "thing" ever seen and that you want to share?
The most creative thing I have seen so far has been the iPhone, a device that has changed the way we live, work and connect.
In the context of an ever evolving digital environment, how can innovation be defined in this sector?
Innovation for us is driven by Disruption, we continuously seek to change and improve on what we have. For us this sense of restless curiosity allows to innovate.
Looking back to how much the digital environment has evolved in the last 20 years, how do you see the evolution of the sector for the next 20 years?
I think improved connectivity will open up more of the world to participate in the digital space, this will bring richness of thinking, creativity and innovation. Technology solutions will help aid faster and more rapid solutions.
How do you feel about Generation Z and their power of innovation?
I am incredibly excited about it, this is a generation that has our greatest technological achievements to hand to solve more the world’s problems.
How do you foster creativity and innovation in your organization?
We are always in beta – this allows all of us at every level and discipline to be creative and innovate. We allow our people to be curious, and question the conventions.
What is “Disruption” in your vision?
It is our ability to do great brave things to make change happen.
